We are now six weeks into the Seattleite life. The weather has gotten a little cooler and the leaves are turning into gorgeous yellows, oranges and reds. We are breaking out the sweaters and jackets. We are really enjoying having a fall season.
Friday we went to a fun foodie event at the Pike Place Market called Arcade Lights. We got to sample a bunch of local food, wine and beer. The best part was we got in early with our ticket pre-order and got to enjoy the offerings before the crowds got really crazy.
Saturday brought us to the Seattle Auto Show. I love going to auto shows. The new car smells, the shiny paint, the soft leather. Going to an auto show was one of the first dates Kim and I went to in high school. So they always have a special place in our hearts.
We tried a new church on Sunday called Reach. It was out in Kirkland, just about 20 minutes away. We really liked it. There was a lot of similarities to the Park. We will defiantly be back next Sunday and look at getting plugged into a community group.
