This crockpot recipe is one of my favorites when it’s cold out, and so easy to make. Best of all, it’s ready when you get home from work.
INGREDIENTS
- 1.5 lb. lean Roast Beef
- 1 pack of dry Lipton onion soup mix
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 2 tablespoons Hoisin sauce
- 1/2 cup of red wine
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Onion, sliced
- 1/2 lb. Mushrooms, sliced
- 4-8 oz. Beef broth
- Sprig of Thyme
DIRECTIONS
STEP 1
Season meat with salt and pepper and sear all sides in hot pan. Place in crockpot.
STEP 2
Add all ingredients in crockpot. This can be done at night and refrigerated. Before you leave the house in the morning, all you need to do is turn it on low and let it do it’s thing all day. Serve with Creamy Polenta.
