I’m known as the “Cocktail Maven” around the Zulily office, where I work as a Marketing Design Manager. So, when I was asked to create a Zulily exclusive cocktail to promote the Stash Tea sponsored sale on our website, I was beyond excited! Cocktails? Of course, I’ll do it! Plus, I’m always looking for fun, inspiring ingredients for my cocktail recipes, and tea is a really great addition because it can help bring all the rest of the ingredients into balance. For this summery drink, I’m mixing Stash Organic Very Berry Tea infused simple syrup with vodka, lemon juice, and sparkling rosé! This is an easy one to batch as well, so check out the single serving and large format recipe below.
–FOR ONE–
INGREDIENTS
- 2 oz Vodka
- 1 oz Stash Very Berry Simple Syrup
- .5 oz Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
- 1 oz Sparkling Rosé
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 cup Water
- 2 Stash Very Berry Tea Bags
DIRECTIONS
STEP 1
Make Simple Syrup: Combine 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water in a pot and place over high heat. Stir frequently. Make sure the liquid doesn’t simmer or boil. Continue to stir until sugar is completely dissolved, then remove from heat. Add 2 tea bags to the pot and steep until the simple syrup is cool. (Store Stash Very Berry Tea Simple Syrup in an airtight container in the fridge up to 10 days.)
STEP 2
Squeeze half a lemon and strain out any seeds. Cut a slice out from the remaining half and set aside to use as garnish.
STEP 3
Add Vodka, Stash Very Berry Tea Simple Syrup, and Lemon Juice in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds until chilled.
STEP 4
Strain into a glass filled with ice. Top with Sparkling Rosé. Garnish with lemon wheel.
