Serve this spooky cocktail at your Halloween party or pre/post trick-or-treating with your little monsters. This easy fall recipe has four ingredients—rum, black currant ginger beer, cardamom bitters, and simple syrup. Black currant lends a perfect blood-like hue and black sanding sugar acts as a ghoulish garnish.

INGREDIENTS
- 12 oz dark rum
- 32 oz black currant ginger beer from Rachel’s Ginger Beer
- 2 oz simple syrup
- 5 dashes cardamom bitters
- Cocktail cherries for garnish
- Lime wheels for garnish, optional
DIRECTIONS
STEP 1
Combine rum, black currant ginger beer, simple syrup and bitters in a beverage dispenser or pitcher. Stir to combine and chill until ready to serve.
STEP 2
Cut a lime in half and rub around the edge of a cocktail glass. Dip the edges in black sanding sugar. Repeat with 6 glasses.
STEP 3
When ready to serve, carefully fill glasses with ice. Stir chilled cocktail, and dispense into glasses. Garnish with cherry, lime wheel, and a fun straw.
