As I walked home from work today, I thought about all the things in Seattle that stand out to me so far:
- I have not been bitten by a single mosquito—or even seen one for that matter
- Amazing craft coffee is everywhere (I am not talking about Starbucks in case anyone is wondering)
- I got to break out my boots and scarves this week
- I walk to the grocery store, to work, to dinner and pretty much everywhere
- The city landscapes with lavender bushes—it is seriously everywhere!
- Everything is green—the grass, the trees
- You can buy booze (the hard stuff) at Target—or pretty much any grocery, convenient store or pharmacy
- Almost every restaurant serves local, organic, pesticide-free whatever it is you are eating
- I found the best pad thai I’ve ever eaten
- Big crows
- I have met SO many Texans!
