Muddling Mint leaves is time consuming—try this Mint Simple Syrup for your Mint Julep or Mojito. You’ll get all the delicious mint flavor without the unexpected mouthful of mint leaves, plus it make batching cocktail a breeze!

Makes about 1.5 cups


INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 6 Mint sprigs


DIRECTIONS

STEP 1
Combine sugar and water in a small pot on the stove over high heat. Stir to dissolve the sugar, being careful not to let it boil.

STEP 2
Once water has become clear and all sugar dissolved, remove from heat and place 6 sprigs of Mint into pot. Let steep for at least 30 mins or until desired flavor.

Once cool, store in air-tight container in fridge for up to 10 days.
