The Potted Parrot—a classic from Trader Vic’s is the perfect drink to show off my new-to-me, vintage tiki mug.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 oz Mount Gay white rum
- 1/2 oz Cointreau
- 2 oz freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1/4 oz orgeat
- 1/4 oz simple syrup
- Dehydrated blood orange wheel, for garnish
- Mint sprigs, for garnish
DIRECTIONS
STEP 1
Combine all ingredients into shaker filled with crushed ice. Shake well for 20 seconds, then pour into tiki glass.
STEP 2
Garnish with any combination of fun, tiki garnish and a straw.
