Sunday morning we checked out Union church just down the street. It is interesting and a little overwhelming to start searching for a new church community. This church is in an event space and coffee/chocolate shop. We have defiantly have been spoiled at the Park with amazing worship and Scott’s teaching.

Later that afternoon we headed out to Ballard to check out the Hiram M. Chittenden Locks or known locally as the Ballard Locks. These locks, built in 1906, help to maintain the water levels between the salt water of the Puget Sound and the fresh water of Lake Union and Washington. The locks also have a Salmon ladder to allow for migrating Salmon to head into the fresh water to spawn.
